MAGIC Lab Meetings

MAGIC has a bi-weekly lab meeting (alternates with reading group) on Fridays at 12:00pm in the MAGIC Lab (FSC 2330A). During these meetings, each person gives a quick update on the project he or she is working on. This is to help the various different project groups in the lab interact with one another.

MAGIC Ubicomp Reading Group

MAGIC has a bi-weekly reading group meeting (alternates with lab meetings) on Fridays at 12:00pm in the MAGIC Lab (FSC 2330A). Everybody is welcome to join in and participate. For each reading group, we have a volunteer that chooses a paper ahead of time and everybody will have a chance to read the paper before the meeting. During the meeting the person who chose the paper will lead a discussion about the paper.

MAGIC Socials

MAGIC lunch socials happen on the first Friday of every month at 12pm until about 2pm. We usually serve up a couple of pizzas and someone kindly volunteers give us a presentation about their work. The reading group or lab meeting is usually combined with the social or delayed until next week.
